WORK GUIDE 3

WORK GUIDE N°3
Will robots take YOUR job?
·  Robots now perform roughly 10 percent of manufacturing tasks
·  Factory workers 'will be higher paid but there will be fewer of them'

By REUTERS and MARK PRIGG FOR DAILYMAIL.COM

The falling cost of industrial robots will allow manufacturers to use them to replace more factory workers over the next decade while lowering labor costs, according to new research.
Robots now perform roughly 10 percent of manufacturing tasks that can be done by machines, according to the Boston Consulting Group.
The management consulting firm projected that to rise to about 25 percent of such 'automatable' tasks by 2025.

In turn, labor costs stand to drop by 16 percent on average globally over that time, according to the research.
The shift will mean an increasing demand for skilled workers who can operate the machines, said Hal Sirkin, a senior partner at Boston Consulting.
Factory workers 'will be higher paid but there will be fewer of them,' Sirkin said.
The research found a tipping point for installing robots: Companies tend to start thinking about replacing workers when the costs of owning and operating a system come at a 15 percent discount to employing a human counterpart.
For example, in the U.S. automotive industry, which is predicted to be one of the more aggressive adopters of robots, a spot-welding machine costs $8 an hour versus $25 an hour for a worker.

THE ROBOT ADVANTAGE
The research found a tipping point for installing robots: Companies tend to start thinking about replacing workers when the costs of owning and operating a system come at a 15 percent discount to employing a human counterpart.
In the U.S. automotive industry, a spot-welding machine costs $8 an hour versus $25 an hour for a worker.
The report says the changes will be concentrated in four areas: transportation equipment, including the automotive sector; computer and electronic products; electrical equipment and machinery.
ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS
1.       WHAT JOBS COULD DISAPPEAR?
2.       SHOULD WE FEAR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE? ARGUMENT YOUR ASNSWER.
3.       WHAT JOBS THE ROBOTS WILL NEVER REPLACE?

ANSWERS

1.       WHAT JOBS COULD DISAPPEAR?
I think the work can disappear are all having to do with the industrial part, of doing, even though the Robot is an important tool capable of performing activities that might well be made by people without forgetting that maybe the price would be increased in the case of salary allowance, compared to what it would cost to keep a Robot.

2.       SHOULD WE FEAR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE? ARGUMENT YOUR ASNSWER.
regarding whether to be afraid of artificial intelligence, we can say that depending on the area of training of each person, for example in my case I'm a nurse and lawyer believe almost not, however; those who are trained in engineering are more likely to be replaced by the surface intelligence Robot

3.       WHAT JOBS THE ROBOTS WILL NEVER REPLACE?
I consider that the Robot can never replace the jobs that have to think, they can not do, analyze, make decisions, we can not ignore that even the jobs that have to do with just making also require the work of thought and take decisions at any given time. up there can never reach humans, creating a thinking this is just a power of God Almighty.

there are several reasons than can motivate someone to change something about himself.
1. sometimes people tattoo themselves when a relative die trying to keep the memories of that person alive.
A- DO YOU THINK YOU CAN PRESERVE THE ESSENCE SOMEONE YOU LOVED WITH A TATTOO?
I do not agree that to preserve the memory of a family member has that tattoo, I think that what we preserve in our life to a familiar, are the vivid memories, love given to them while they were alive and dead has sense tattooed skin of our body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit

B. DO YOU THINK A TATTOOED PERSON OR A PERSON WITH A EXTREME BODY MODIFICATION HAS A OPORTUNITY IN YOUR WORK AREA? WHY?
I think our society is not ready to accept in a nice way a person with tattoos when looking for a job. There is a stigma that tattoos are performed by people in prisons, which could lead them to think they are not good people. Anyway I think that you should not judge these people, it is possible that at the time when these tattoos were made to have a mentality and that in the present have another.

C. IF YOU WERE THE PRESIDENT OF A BUREAU OR ANY OTHER COMPANY RELATED TO LAW, WOULD YOU ACCEPT A PERSON WHO REPRESENT ONE OR MANY OF THESE FEATURES AS YOUR EMPLOYEE? ARGUMENT YOUR ANSWER.
I was the president of a company and had to decide between hiring a person with tattoos and not do you have them, what would treat you the same way as any other person who goes to a call for work; if I have no right to judge him for what he has done in his past. What if I would take care of is that you do all psychological tests and other to be sure that it is a suitable person for the job to be performed by
